Monday – Wednesday: Ditch the kitchen and head to your local to enjoy two gastropub classics for £25, every Monday to Wednesday. Choose our 14-hour Braised Beef & Ale Pie, Aubergine, Red Pepper & Buckwheat Salad, Aubrey Allen’s Steak Burger, and our sustainably sourced Fish & Chips.

Wednesday – Friday: Don’t miss out on sausage o’clock! Join us at the bar, Wednesday – Friday, between 5-6pm, to enjoy a taste of Jimmy Butler’s finest sausages. Served alongside planet-saving Rubies in the Rubble ketchup. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Friday: Add some fizz to your weekend! Buy one bottle of fizz (Prosecco, Cremant or Piper), between 3-7pm, and get the second on us.  Perfectly paired with Chef’s Posh Fish & Chips specials!

Monthly Quiz: Join our quiz on the last Thursday of every month. Starting at 7.30pm, £1 entry per person will go towards the RSPCA, with the winning team taking home £50 Peach Pounds! Call the pub on 01184 027065 to book your team. 

Tapas on the Terrace

We’re bringing a little Spanish cuisine to The Chequers, filling our specials board with our favourite tapas. From Croquetas de Jamón to Patatas Bravas, Paella and Tortilla, join us for Tapas on the Terrace. Book a table from 6pm and quote “Spanish Supper”. There’ll be sangria, sherry and live music – one not to miss!

Comedy Night

Get ready for a night of laughs at your favourite local! Grab a drink at the bar, sit back, and enjoy an evening of fun. Comedy starts at 7:30pm, £7 per person. Book a table under the tent or call the pub on 01184 027065 to save your seat.
